27' 1978 Friendship Sloop A real bargain! A sloop with an interesting history: featured on 2 television commercials and formerly owned by Senator Chris Dodd who sailed it with his buddy, Ted Kennedy. A traditional gaff-rigged Friendship with triple head sails, topsail and mainsail, sleeps 4, cockpit for 8, mahogany planking on oak frames and a 25 HP Westerbeke diesel. These sailboats were the original Maine lobstering boats before internal combustion engines were used. Stored in a dry barn for the last 5 years.
