Vintage bearpaw snowshoes. These snowshoes are over fifty years old. Handmade by Snowcraft.. They are in very good condition and will last for years if taken care of. The bindings are neoprene and will not stretch. Probably should be limited to 150 pounds. I know that aluminum shoes are lighter and the laces are waterproof, but there is something nostalgic and special about using man-made wooden snowshoes in the woods. There is a lot of Maine and Alaska history in these snowshoes.
