Korean War era US M5 rifle imperial bayonet with M8A1 PWH scabbard. The M5 was adopted by the U.S. Military in 1953 to replace other bayonets for the M1 Garand rifle. The scabbard is made by PWH (Philadelphia Working House for the Blind). The bayonet crossguard is marked US M5 Imperial. The button and latch are functional. The blade and grips are in excellent condition with no nicks and dings. Some minor finish wear on the blade from sliding it in and out of the scabbard. Scabbard is in very good plus to excellent condition with no cracks or missing paint. Pictures available on request.
